Awake, My Soul, Awake

We will be having another wonderful, spirit filled retreat in September of this year.    We have reserved our spot in the same beautiful location, Spring Canyon Retreat Center, Buena Vista Colorado.  We will gather to worship Jesus, receive His word and be in fellowship with our brothers and sisters.  The Aspens will be in peak colors, the travel there and back is breathtaking! 

• We welcome both married couples and singles!

• Men, Bring your fishing pole and hiking shoes, Saturday morning Men’s outing. More details as we get closer.

Option 1:  $470 per person - come early and relax with the Lord!!
4-night stay, starting Wednesday, September 8th.
This includes 5 meals, which start on Friday evening. 
Our first meeting will be Wednesday evening at 7 pm.  

Option 2:  $405 per person - tell your boss you need to GO!
3-night stay, starting Thursday, September 9th.
This includes 5 meals, which start on Friday evening. 
Meeting at 7 pm on Thursday evening.  
 
Option 3:  Price:  $340 per person
Arrive Friday, September 10, for a 2-night stay including 5 meals.

Except for married couples, pricing is based on having 3-4 per room.

We will honor your roommate requests, (if you tell us early enough).

We are not offering offsite lodging at this time. 

IMPORTANT !!!!!!!!! - Cancellation/refund policy, pet policy, and first-come/first-serve policy.

If for any reason Spring Canyon may need to reduce or limit our numbers, we will select registrants that are paid in full, in the order of their registrations.  We do not expect this to happen.  However, if this is the case and you are excluded because of a change to Spring Canyon policy, we will refund your money. 

If federal or state government enact restrictions that should cause us to cancel / partially cancel, we will do our best to refund your money if we are able to recoup the funds we have paid in.  However, since we are required to pay a large portion early, it may happen that we will be credited at Spring Canyon for a future Retreat.  Please work together with us on this, as we will be trying to work with the Retreat Center for the best solution.

Pet Policy:  No pets are allowed at Spring Canyon.  If you have a service animal, please contact Spring Canyon directly to request an exception.  If an exception is granted, you will need to let us know as well so we can work with Spring Canyon to allocate the appropriate room for you.

Cancellation / refund policy: If you cancel prior to midnight, August 9th, we will give you a full refund.   After August 9th, we will not be able to give you a refund, as we will be required to pay Spring Canyon for that registration.

You may check in to your room as early as 4:00 PM. 

NO Meals available Wednesday or Thursday evening, bring a meal, picnic, or plan to go to Buena Vista.

Wednesday & Thursday Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM in the main Spring Canyon Lodge (where the meals and offices are).

If you are arriving on Friday to check in, you may come early to the meetings if you like and then check in to your room after 4 PM.  

Retreat Room Assignments:  

Single attendees:

• There will be 3-4 per room.
• We will honor your roommate requests, (if you tell us early enough).
• You will be meeting new friends and we believe you will have many lasting friendships formed during this retreat.
• Rooms are spacious and comfortable with private baths. Some rooms have extra sinks and vanity space.
• Pillows, sheets, blankets and towels are supplied. 
• There is a full common kitchen in most of the lodges that we are welcome to use.  In some lodges there is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.  

Lodging for Couples:​

• Rooms are spacious and comfortable with private baths.
• Pillows, sheets, blankets and towels are supplied.
• Wood burning fire box.
• Common kitchen, you can bring your snacks or food if you are on special diet.  

Meals - The Beautiful Dining Hall Has Been Newly Renovated.

• Meals are served family style.
• Chef Rory and his crew have quite a reputation for fixing amazing meals!
• We will have 5 meals together, (included in your cost) and we will drive 12 miles to Buena Vista for any other meals needed.
• Please let us know if you have any food allergies by August 9th, so Chef Rory can prepare to accommodate.  In speaking with Chef Rory we found he enjoys cooking with quality ingredients that “do no harm”.
